A Hamilton Township pedestrian was killed while crossing a busy intersection, authorities said. The 65-year-old man died at the intersection of Nottingham Way and Klockner Road on Friday, Sept. 6, the Hamilton Police Division said in a news release. The crash happened at around 9:19 p.m. Investigators said a 56-year-old Hamilton woman was driving a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe eastbound on Nottingham Way. A 34-year-old Hamilton man was charged with kidnapping a missing Trenton teen and sexually assaulting her over the course of two months, authorities said. A Trenton driver has a Hamilton police officer and civilian to thank for pulling him from his burning SUV after crashing into a tree last week. Auner Rauda, 43, was heading eastbound in a 2002 Honda CRV on Klockner Road when he crossed into the westbound lanes and struck the tree at the Kuser Road intersection around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Hamilton police said. Two Hamilton police officers rescued a sleeping family from their burning apartment, authorities said.
