Driver Flees From Crash That Killed Passenger On Route 9: Prosecutor A 47-year-old North Plainfield man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Woodbridge on Saturday, Oct. 25 in which the driver had fled from, authorities said. Mario Ortiz Bonilla was found dead in the front passenger's seat of the 2017 Kia Sportage on Route 9 and Green Street in Woodbridge just after 9:05 a.m., Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Woodbridge PD Director Robert Hubner said. The driver had fled the scene, Ciccone and Hubner said. Authorities did not provide further details. The investigation is active and continuing. Anyone with information is asked to call …

Pleasantville Motorcyclist, 49, Dies After Slamming Disabled SUV A Pleasantville motorcyclist was killed when he struck an SUV left disabled on Route 30 over the weekend, authorities said. A driver was pulled over in their Volkswagon Jetta when a Kia Sportage left the roadway and hit it just before 2 a.m., Sunday, Atlantic City police said. The SUV had come to rest in the right lane when a motorcycle operated by Brian Lewis, 49, and hit its side near milepost 55.2, police said. The force of the motorcycle's collision caused the Kia to flip onto its side, police said. Lewis was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the two cars were not hurt…
