NJ Aviation Enthusiast Killed, Three Seriously Injured In Fiery I-80 Crash
A New Jersey man was killed, and three passengers — his wife, son, and his son's girlfriend — were critically injured when a car lost control and was struck by a tractor-trailer on Interstate 80 in Tobyhanna Township, PA, Pennsylvania State Police announced in a press release on Monday, Dec. 16.
The crash happened at mile marker 286.6 westbound around 8:39 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, 2024, during hazardous road conditions, troopers said.

Beloved Toms River Dad Sajen Hendricks Dies, 27
Beloved Toms River native and devoted dad Sajen Paul Thornton Hendricks died Wednesday, May 10 aged 27.
Born in Teaneck, Sajen’s sister, Cassandra, raised him until age four, when they moved in with their adoptive parents, his obituary says.
Sajen then grew up in Toms River before graduating from Manchester High School in 2014.
He was known for his passion for fishing, cooking breakfast and Italian specialities, and sharing his knowledge “about everything,” his memorial says.
“He was a lover of art and making people laugh, especially when they needed cheering up,” reads his obituary.

Funeral services have been said for a Rutgers University senior killed in a hit-and-run crash Thursday, Feb. 16.
Visitation for Max Spivak, 21, of Old Bridge, will be Monday, Feb. 20 at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, beginning at 4 p.m. Services appear to be private.
Spivak was struck by 42-year-old Nageswar Polamuri, of Iselin, around 1 a.m. on Route 18 south near the border of Piscataway and New Brunswick, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.

Funeral Mass For Lakewood School Librarian, 33, Killed In House Fire
Funeral services are Thursday for Sara Trahey, a school media specialist and mother of three, who died in a house fire on Friday.
A Funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, 685 Hooper Ave, in Toms River. Cremation will be private.
