Joan Winter, 70, formerly of Yonkers and Hartsdale, NY, and her brother Mark, 76, had lived together for several years in what had been their late mother's Kennedy Terrace home on a quiet cul-de-sac near Washington Avenue, those who knew them said.

A Middlesex County man was found guilty of murdering his father and another man in 2019 before setting their home on fire, authorities said.
Jaree Kitchen, 24, was convicted on June 1 of the murder of his father, Clifford Kitchen Jr., 53 and Gregory Fisher, 53, both from Jamesburg, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone.

Two young adults who admitted killing and disposing a newborn baby in a Dumpster have been sentenced to a combined 15 years in prison, authorities said.
