'Floating Classroom': New Jersey's Official Tall Ship To Sail From Cape May Twice This Summer
If you're going to Cape May this summer, you could be able to ride on New Jersey’s official tall ship. The A.J. Meerwald will sail from the Cape May Ferry Terminal between Wednesday, June 26, and Sunday, July 7, the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) said in a news release. The ship will return on Friday, Aug. 2 to offer public sailing and programming through Thursday, Sept. 12. Cape May-Lewes Ferry Raises Vehicle Fees, Improves Loyalty Rewards Program
Taking a vehicle on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry this summer is going to come with a price. A higher one. The commission for the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) approved a new fare schedule for the ferry, the DRBA announced on Monday, Feb. 5. The new rates will go into effect on Monday, Apr. 1. In-season fares for standard vehicles and motorcycles will go up by $1. Fares will go up by $2 for vehicles 26 to 45 feet long, and $3 for vehicles longer than 46 feet. The "no show" fee will also increase from $10 to $26 to get more people to cancel or modify a booking instead of abandoning it.…

Indoor Sports Complex Approved As Latest Addition To Cape May Airport
A large indoor sports complex is coming to Cape May County, featuring year-round space for sports like soccer and lacrosse. The commission for the Delaware River and Bay Authority (DRBA) unanimously approved a resolution to enter a lease agreement with Aviation Sports Complex LLC. The DRBA announced the agreement on Tuesday, Jan. 30. The developer is planning to build an 80,000-square-foot domed facility at Cape May Airport. Delaware Memorial Bridge Lanes Closed Due To Major Construction
Construction on the New Jersey-bound side of the Delaware Memorial Bridge has temporarily closed two northbound lanes of traffic, authorities said. Highway crews started work to replace the bridge deck and expansion joints on Thursday, Sept. 15 as part of a $71 million project. The first phase of a three-part construction project will result in the two lanes being closed through Nov. 22, according to the Delaware River and Bay Authority.
