A 45-year-old Ocean County man has been charged with breaking into his father's house, stealing a laptop and setting a fire inside the home, authorities said.
John Voltolino, Jr., of Toms River, was charged with aggravated arson, burglary, theft, and criminal mischief, in connection with the incidents that occurred on Monday, Sept. 4, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

A 45-year-old man from Atlantic County has been arrested in connection with dropping dye from a drone into local pools, authorities said.
Patrick Spina 4th, of Absecon, owner of Comfort Solutions Heating and Cooling, is facing multiple counts of criminal mischief, according to Absecon police.
On Aug. 13, Absecon Police received a call from a concerned homeowner on Upland Avenue, who reported suspicious activity involving a drone hovering over their pool. "To the homeowner's dismay, a substance was dropped from the drone, turning the pool water an alarming shade of green," police said. …

A pair of men from Illinois and New York have been arrested in connection with burglaries in Central Jersey, authorities said.
Brayan M. Renteria Acosta, 19, of Rockford, IL, and Brandon Zabala Hernandez, 21, of College Point, NY, were charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft, two counts of criminal mischief and two counts of conspiracy in connection with two burglaries, according to Middlesex Police Chief Matthew P. A pair of heartless thieves from Pennsylvania stole 19 catalytic converters from a lot off Route 17 packed with vehicles used to help seniors, the disabled and frail Bergen County residents get around, authorities said.
Detectives grabbed one of them – identified as Noe Gabriel Hernandez, 24, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
