Mahwah PD: Rockland Dealer, Hotel Companion Busted With Meth, More Thanks To Dangled SUV Mirror
A rear-view mirror hanging off a new SUV drew the attention of a Mahwah police detective who ended up busting a Rockland dealer and a companion with meth and an assortment of other drugs for sale at a local hotel, authorities said.
Before they were done, police had seized meth, cocaine, methadone, clonazepam, hypodermic needles and packaging materials, Police Chief Stephen Jaffe said.
Detective Christopher Fasulo had gone to the hotel near the New York State border Monday night to check out a report of a stolen vehicle, Jaffe said.

Brick Police Department's Street Crimes Unit Detectives made a warranted “knock and announce” search at the Maple Leaf Park Complex, on Sawmill Road about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to Patrol Officer Victoria Finelli.
David Gonzalez, 32, from Brick in Ocean County was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and crack, possession of cocaine and crack, possession of paraphernalia and tampering with evidence, Finelli said.

A Lehigh Valley man had five children in the car when he was pulled over and found with heroin, cocaine and about $70,000 in cash, authorities charged.
Jesus Serano, 38, was stopped for several violations on Route 22 in Pohatcong on Tuesday, township police said.

Bergen NJ Turnpike Stop: Kilo Of Coke Found In Secret Compartments, South Jersey Pair Busted
Bergen County prosecutor’s detectives found not one but two electronically-operated compartments holding more than two pounds of cocaine when they stopped two South Jersey men on the NJ Turnpike, authorities said.
They arrested the driver, identified as Pedro A. Luciano, 32, of Willingboro and Paul Harris, 35, of Camden, both unemployed, following Wednesday’s southbound Route 95 stop in Carlstadt near MetLife Stadium, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
