Police seek the public's help locating a missing teenager in Camden County. On Friday, Sept. 2, Gabriella Byrd, was reported missing from the Sicklerville Section of Gloucester Township. She was last seen by family at her residence on Monday, Aug. 29, police said. She is a 17-year-old African-American female and described as being 5'-09" tall and 120 pounds. South Jersey Man Sentenced For Killing Girlfriend's Yorkie Puppy
A 39-year-old Camden man was sentenced for killing his girlfriend's Yorkshire Terrier puppy, authorities said. Gary Moore was sentenced to three years in state prison on Friday, Aug. 26, according to the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office. In his guilty plea, Moore admitted to intentionally killing his then girlfriend’s dog when he was angry with her. The case began as a joint investigation between the Atlantic City Police Department and the Animal Cruelty Prosecution Unit of the Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office. A town hall meeting is planned, in-person and via Zoom, on Tuesday evening, Aug. 16, in East Greenwich, Gloucester County to discuss last week's rotten egg odor caused by a chemical leak. A South Jersey woman will spend a year and a day in federal prison for trying to bribe the operator of an impound lot to break into a police-seized vehicle and steal a gun. Saidah "Sacha" Davis, 42, went to the home of a Camden tow lot operator along with ex-con Anthony "Papa Smurf" Parker after his vehicle was seized, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger said. Detectives are investigating the fatal shooting of a 19-year-old man in South Jersey, authorities said.
