UPDATE: A doorbell camera captured horrific video -- and audio -- of an ex-con from Paterson repeatedly stabbing a Hackensack woman outside her home, law enforcement sources said Thursday. Clarence S. Stokes, 42, apparently had come to see Stanley Gunter and Latrice Avery on Wednesday evening to discuss living in a room in their Fairmount Avenue home. An argument over what would be the terms of his stay erupted before turning deadly, an investigator with knowledge of the incident told Daily Voice. Stokes, 42, got into an argument with the victims over what would be the terms of his stay before stabbing Stanley Gunter and Latrice Avery around 8 p.m. Wednesday, a law enforcement investigator with knowledge of the incident told Daily Voice.
