Two out-of-state men have been charged with murder after bringing a New York man from his apartment to the Eagle Rock Reservation in West Orange and shooting him dead earlier this year, authorities said. Missing NJ Teen Jashyah Moore Found Safe
Jashyah Moore, a 14-year-old New Jersey girl who had been missing since October, was found safe on Thursday, Nov. 11, authorities confirmed. The teen had last been seen Oct. 14 at a deli near her East Orange home. A $20,000 reward had been issued for anyone who could help find her. Jashyah was found in New York City and was "being provided all appropriate services, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II, said. "She will be returned to NJ shortly." NJ Religious Leader Sexually Assaults Young Man During Spiritual Ritual, Prosecutor Says
A self-described religious leader in Essex County sexually assaulted a young man during a religious ritual, authorities said. Wayne Ram, 44, of Newark, was meeting with the victim at a family member's home and suggested at the family member leave on Aug. 7, in Orange, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. An 18-year-old North Jersey man lost his leg after authorities said his drunk twin brother drove into a tree with him on the hood of the car, his sister said. Anthony Dattoli of West Caldwell surrendered with his lawyer on Monday in connection with the June 27 hit-and-run crash that severely injured Joseph Dattoli, authorities said.
