Thief Wanted For Snatching 83-Year-Old Woman's Purse At Jersey Shore Supermarket Somers Point police were looking for a man who stole an elderly woman's purse at a supermarket, authorities said. Officers responded to the "strong-armed robbery" at the ACME Markets on New Road at around 10:50 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3, the Somers Point Police Department said in a news release. The Bound Brook Road store in Middlesex will close on Feb. 3, the outlet reports. Calls placed by NJ.com to the store were not answered and a reason for the closure was not provided. Richard Kunzweiler was 75 when he was struck by a car driven by a 66-year-old Fair Lawn man outside the Acme in Saddle Brook on Aug. 16, 2018, records show.
