ICE To Seize 2 Women Charged In NJ Crash That Killed Baby
ICE detainers have been lodged against both women charged in a New Jersey grocery store parking lot crash that killed a 9-month-old boy, records show.
Maria CobonGuzman, 20, of Trenton, and Ariadana Lazaro-Flores, 22, of Toms River, remained in the Ocean County Jail following the Friday, Aug. 28 crash, jail records show. Both records list detainers issued by U.S. Immigration.
Jail records show CobonGuzman is a Guatemalan national, while Lazaro-Flores is a Mexican national.

The operator of a boat that struck a channel marker in Barnegat Bay last month, killing a 26-year-old Somerset County man and seriously injuring two others, has been charged, court records show.
Kevin Martin Wells, 40, of Warren, was arrested on Friday, Aug. 28, and charged with second-degree vehicular homicide, apparently in the death of Michael T. Bereheiko, according to New Jersey court and Ocean County jail records.

A 57-year-old Manchester woman pleaded guilty to assaulting and neglecting an elderly patient at a rehab center, authorities announced Friday, Aug. 28.
Lisa Erickson pleaded guilty to aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and neglect of an elderly adult, Attorney General Jennifer Davenport said. Per the terms of a plea agreement, Erickson will permanently forfeit her nursing license, and faces 364 days in county jail, Davenport said.
