A New Jersey resident who admitted to killing two family members in a brutal double homicide inside a Rockland County, NY home will spend decades behind bars, prosecutors announced.
Alan Abad, also known as Alina Abad, 21, of Westwood, New Jersey, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison in Rockland County Court after previously pleading guilty to the entire indictment charging first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Mariana Elizabeth Valverde Beltran, 58, of Elizabeth, and Maria Isabel DeLosAngeles Salgado Ayala, 61, of Newark, were struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Park Avenue and North 7th Street at approximately 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, according to Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N.
