Person Jumps From Bear Mountain Bridge (Developing) Authorities responded to the Bear Mountain Bridge in the Hudson Valley after a person jumped off the structure early in the morning.  The incident happened on Friday, Feb. 7 at around 3:45 a.m., when a person leaped from the bridge, according to New York State Police.  Authorities are still at the bridge, police said, adding that more information is not yet available.  The structure connects Bear Mountain State Park in Orange County to the town of Cortlandt in Westchester County.  This is a developing story. Vehicle Lands On Side On Icy Route 9 In Croton-On-Hudson Icy road conditions in Northern Westchester caused a rollover crash, firefighters said.  The crash happened on Thursday, Feb. 6 at around 7:15 a.m., when a vehicle landed on its side on northbound Route 9 in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the village's fire department.  The driver declined any medical treatment, firefighters said. The response took around 45 minutes in total. "More winter weather may hit our area in the upcoming weekend. As a reminder, if you don’t absolutely have to drive in snow and ice, don’t," the department wrote in a social media post.

Tractor Trailer Skids On Ice, Hits Tree On Side Of I-84 In Wallkill A man was injured after losing control of the tractor-trailer he was driving on an icy Interstate 84 in the Hudson Valley.  The crash happened in Orange County on Thursday, Feb. 6, just before 11 a.m., when a tractor-trailer driving east on I-84 in Wallkill slid on ice and snow and veered off the right side of the highway, according to New York State Police. The tractor-trailer then hit a tree.  The 32-year-old driver was treated for minor injuries. No traffic tickets were issued, police said.

Car Flips On I-684 In Katonah Firefighters rushed to Interstate 684 in Northern Westchester after a car overturned amid snowy conditions, causing injuries.  The crash happened on Thursday, Feb. 6 at around 10:30 a.m., when a car flipped on I-684 North near Exit 5 in Katonah, according to 511NY and the Katonah Fire Department.
