The drummer of a well-known emo and pop-punk bank from Long Island said he has left the group, citing sobriety and creative differences. After 25 years of rocking out with Taking Back Sunday, Mark O'Connell announced his departure from the band in an Instagram post on Tuesday, Jan. 7. The Gaslight Anthem, Asbury Park Brewery Release Special Beer Before Concert At The Stone Pony
A New Jersey alternative rock band is releasing a special beer right before playing at an iconic Asbury Park concert venue. The Gaslight Anthem is partnering with Asbury Park Brewery to create "Stay Lucky," a limited-edition beer to be sold starting on Thursday, Aug. 15, the brewery said in a news release. The band that formed in New Brunswick in 2006 will perform at The Stone Pony on Friday, Aug. 16. Stay Lucky is a hazy IPA with peach and mango aromas with a 6.5 percent ABV. Bush To Bring Greatest Hits Concert Tour To Two Jersey Shore Venues
Alternative rock band Bush will hit the road for its "Loaded: The Greatest Hits Tour" and the group will perform twice along the Jersey Shore this summer. The rockers behind 90's hits like "Glycerine" and "Machinehead" released the dates for the concert tour celebrating the band's 30th anniversary.
