Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Man Killed Nearly 15 Years After Being Left Paralyzed In Baltimore Shooting ID'd By Police Baltimore police have identified a 35-year-old man who died from complications stemming back to a 2008 shooting. Antwan Horton was on his way home from the store when he was left paralyzed after being shot in the early morning hours of March 22, 2008 in the 500 block of N. Baltimore Toddler Died Of Fentanyl Poisoning, Police Say A Baltimore toddler's January death has been upgraded to a homicide after officials found drugs in the child's system, authorities announced. First responders found 2-year-old Journey Sharp unresponsive in the 4200 block of Parkton Street on Sunday, Jan 15, according to Baltimore police.
