Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Fatal Chain-Reaction Long Island Expressway Crash: Woman ID'd As Victim In Yaphank One person was killed and another seriously injured in a chain-reaction crash on the Long Island Expressway. It happened just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, in Yaphank. A 65-year-old man from Bay Shore was riding a 2007 Harley-Davidson motorcycle westbound near Exit 68, according to Suffolk County Police. Statewide Alert Issued For Missing NY Man Have you seen him? A statewide alert has been issued for a New York man who's gone missing. Edmund Zielinski, age 55, is 6-foot-4, 220 pounds with gray/dirty blond hair, according to New York State Police, who note that he has a scar on his throat from vertebrae surgery. Person Hospitalized After 2-Vehicle Coram Crash A person was hospitalized after a two-vehicle overnight Long Island crash. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, in Coram. A 47-year-old Coram man was riding a bicycle northbound on West Yaphank Road, south of Beach Lane, when he was struck by a northbound 2015 Hyundai Sonata driven by a 48-year-old woman. The bicyclist was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries. Grace, The driver of the Sonata was not injured.
