A New Jersey man has been arrested after allegedly injuring a Newark police officer during a drag racing incident over the weekend, authorities said. Wyatt Bowden, 18, of Somerville was trying to escape officers responding to reports of erratic driving when he drove over a Newark officer's foot just after 1 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. said. Videos Show Street Racer Taunting Cops With Dangerous Stunts Before Newark Arrest
The social media accounts of the 19-year-old Queens man who was arrested in Newark for his dangerous stunts show him taunting police across the tri-state area. Antonio Ginestri, who'd been wanted by the NYPD and other agencies, had a history of provoking cops into pursuing him and then posting the videos on YouTube, amassing millions of views.
