Police Seek Tips In Deadly Ocean County Crash Police in one Ocean County town are seeking information in a fatal motor vehicle crash. Stafford Township police said only that the crash happened near Route 72 and Mill Creek Road around 7:40 p.m. Saturday, July 20. "We are currently seeking any information from the public that may assist our investigation," the department said on Facebook. Police ID Motorcyclist Killed In Franklin Township Crash As 43-Year-Old Resident Police said they have identified the man who was killed in a crash in Somerset County on the early morning of Saturday, June 1.  At 12:17 a.m., police responded to a crash between a vehicle and a motorcycle on Easton Avenue near DeMott Lane, Franklin Township Public Safety Director Quovella M. Maeweather said.  The motorcyclist, Darrell Montgomery, 43, was pronounced dead at the scene, Maeweather said.
