2 Cows Killed, Horse Shot In Lancaster County: PA State Police A disturbing case of animal cruelty is under investigation in Lancaster County after unknown suspects shot multiple livestock, leaving two cows dead, Pennsylvania State Police announced. Troopers from the Lancaster station said the suspects fired multiple shots into two cows along the 100 block of School House Road in Colerain Township. Both animals were found dead by their owner on the morning of Saturday, March 15. Richard Moffatt, 30, of Amityville, was driving a 2021 Mazda SUV southbound in the left lane of Broadway near Francine Avenue when he hit the pedestrian at 12:13 a.m., authorities said.
