All lanes of Route 287 northbound were closed Thursday afternoon, Dec. 18, due to a crash near Exit 34 in Morris Township, authorities said. As of 4:19 p.m., a crash was reported in the northbound lanes at Exit 34 near County Route 663 in Morris Township, the NJDOT said. All northbound lanes were closed. Major delays were reported. No additional information about injuries or when the roadway would reopen was immediately available.

A would-be George Washington Bridge jumper was hospitalized Tuesday night, Sept. 24, after bringing traffic along the bridge to a halt, authorities said. A spokesperson for the Port Authority Police Department confirmed the investigation but not have any further information as of 7:40 p.m. Wednesday morning, a spokesperson said that the incident was reported at 5:42 p.m. near the 179th Street ramp in the westbound lanes. Tractor Trailer Driver, 22, Airlifted In Route 80 Crash
The driver of a tractor trailer was airlifted to the hospital in a Route 80 crash early Friday, July 12 in Warren County, police said. The 22-year-old Lodi, CA man was heading east when he ran off the left side of the roadway, struck the guardrail, went into a ditch, and collided with a tree just after 6:40 a.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt.
