90-Year-Old Woman Rescued From House Fire By Police, Fire Chief: Clinton Township PD A 90-year-old woman was rescued from a house fire in Clinton Township on Saturday, Oct. 5, authorities said. At 3 p.m., police reported heavy smoke coming from the front door of the home on 15 Westchester Terrace, the Clinton Township Police Department said in a release. Officer Michael Malanga and Fire Chief Jeff Hedden approached the front door and heard a woman yelling for help from inside the home, authorities said. Kofi Edwards, 51, was arrested without incident in Sacramento, CA following a tip from the public, the FBI's Newark Central Jersey Safe Streets Task Force announced. Details Released In Deadly Dump Truck Crash In North Jersey Town Authorities have released details in a dump truck crash on Route 31 in Clinton Township that left one person dead on Tuesday, June 18. A 66-year-old man was operating a dump truck that collided with a Toyota sedan driven by a 64-year-old woman around 2:20 p.m. in front of Riley and Jake's Restaurant, the Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office said.
