Man Dies By Suicide After Shooting Woman In Atlantic County Home, Authorities Say A Pleasantville man shot a woman before he died by suicide, authorities said. Pleasantville police responded to a domestic violence report at a home on South Third Street at around 4:05 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. When officers arrived, they tried to make contact with the people inside but several shots were fired. A 26-year-old woman left the home with several gunshot wounds. Yanirah Davis, 22, of Galloway, and Yontay Cooper, 33, of Egg Harbor, showed up to the 100 block of north Rhode Island Avenue with a hammer and a handgun to encounter a group that they had a prior altercation with, city police said.
