2 Dead In I-84 Crash Involving Freightliner, Government-Insured Vehicle In Danbury: State PD
Police have released details in a weekend crash on I-84 in Danbury that involved three vehicles including a Freightliner, and left two people dead.
A disabled Hyundai in the left lane of the Exit 8 on-ramp was struck by a Lexus, whose driver was from Avon, traveling in the left, westbound lane around 6:30 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, Connecticut State Police said. Some of the Hyundai's occupants had exited the vehicle, police said.

An Albany man has been arrested in connection with a collision on I-90 in Canajoharie that killed a 61-year-old Rome resident earlier this month, State Police said.
Jose M. Prieto Cole, 24, was taken into custody on Jan. 9, following an investigation into the Jan. 4 incident that left David Bonaparte, 61, dead, police said.
According to State Police, Bonaparte’s vehicle had experienced a mechanical brake issue, causing him to stop on the shoulder of the roadway. He exited the vehicle and was struck by a westbound car driven by Prieto Cole.
