A lucky New Jersey Lottery player scored $2 million in the Christmas Powerball drawing, matching five white balls and the multiplier, according to lottery officials. The winning numbers from the Wednesday, Dec. 25 drawing were 15, 26, 27, 30, 35, with the Powerball 03 and Power Play 3X. The winning ticket was sold by Jackpot.com, a Middlesex County-based courier. A Powerball player in Essex County is having a very happy, and lucrative holidays. A ticket sold in Nutley matched five white balls and the multiplier to win $2 million in the drawing held on Saturday, Dec. 21. Natalie D’Angelo believes her beloved dog Zoey, who passed away in March, played a role in bringing Stella into her life. On Friday, Dec. 20, the 41-year-old Nutley resident adopted Stella, the dog who had survived being struck by a car on Route 4 in Hackensack, from the Bergen County Animal Shelter in Teterboro. “I just lost my dog in March—she was a half dachshund—and because of that, I felt like maybe Stella was being sent to me from her,” D’Angelo said with Stella in her lap on the floor of the shelter. “I feel like I have the love of my other dog back.” View …

A brand-new 2,500-square-foot Starbucks has opened at the mixed-use property, which spans Clifton and Nutley, purchased by Prism Capital Partners nearly a decade ago, as first reported by NorthJersey.com. Nutley's wrestling community is mourning the loss of Marc DellaVolpe, who is being widely remembered as one of the most passionate, supportive, and knowledgeable parents on the sidelines. DellaVolpe, 47, of Nutley, died unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 17.
