A Mexican restaurant went up in flames on the early morning of Monday, Nov. 4 in Andover Township, authorities said. At 4 a.m., first responders in Andover Township received multiple calls reporting an active fire at Little Mexico Restaurant at 287 Newton-Sparta Road, Andover Township police said. ID Of Tow Truck Operator Killed By Passing Car On Route 19 Released
A tow truck operator was killed by a passing vehicle on Route 19 over the weekend, authorities said. Manuel Perez, 64, was trying to hook another vehicle to his truck on the southbound side of the highway when he was struck by a Toyota sedan that then struck the tow truck and overturned around 11:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 3 at milepost 2-3, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Passenger, 24, Killed In Crash Off NJ Highway: Prosecutor
A 24-year-old woman was killed in a two-car crash in West Orange on Tuesday, Oct. 29, authorities said. First responders arrived at Pleasant Valley Way and Belle Terre Road near the Route 280 ramp at 11:59 p.m. and saw multiple injuries at the scene, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office and Joe Fagan, the public information officer for the city of West Orange said. One Hospitalized In Sparta House Fire: Police
One person was hospitalized following a house fire in Sparta on the evening of Monday, Oct. 14, authorities said. Firefighters responded to 190 West Shore Trail and worked to extinguish the blaze, Sparta police said in a release. One of the residents had to be transported to a nearby hospital with minor burns and smoke inhalation, police said.
