NJ Trio Ram Police Car In Stolen Vehicle, Police Say Three people, including two juveniles, were arrested on Sunday, Dec. 29 for driving a stolen car in Township of Union, authorities said. At 5:20 p.m., officers discovered the stolen car near the Galloping Hill Mall at 1350 Galloping Hill Rd., Township of Union police said. Officers surrounded the car with the goal of blocking it to prevent a pursuit, police said. The driver of the stolen car tried to force his way out of the containment and repeatedly rammed police cars, officers said. Six People Arrested After Police Pursuit Ends In Overturned Vehicle: Union PD Six people, including a 19-year-old Newark resident were arrested and charged after fleeing from police in a stolen vehicle in Township of Union on Tuesday, Dec. 17, authorities said. At 12:55 p.m., officers spotted a 2017 Acura MDX speeding on Route 22 and a license plate check revealed the vehicle was stolen from Belleville, Township of Union police said. Two Teens Arrested After Discarded Loaded Gun Forces Union HS Into Lockdown: Police Two teenagers were arrested after they discarded a loaded firearm in the bushes near Union High School, prompting a lockdown, on the morning of Thursday, Nov. 21, authorities said. At 8:11 a.m., officers responded to a resident near Union High School who reported finding a fanny pack in the bushes near Stahuber Drive, Township of Union police said.
