The turtle was trapped inside a cage that had been secured with zip ties and submerged underwater at Geiger Park in Deer Park, the Suffolk County SPCA said Friday, Aug. 28. Town of Babylon park rangers found the turtle while responding to a complaint about e-bikes in the park and pulled the cage out of the lake, the SPCA said. NJ Man Killed In Route 195 Crash That Injured 4: Njsp A 73-year-old Brick man was killed in a crash on Route I-195 in Jackson Township Wednesday, Aug. 26, authorities said. At 9:01 p.m., William Wright was driving a Ford SUV east on I-195 when he lost directional control of the car and struck a Ford SUV, then struck a Toyota SUV, Caitlin Brennan said. During the crash, both Fords overturned and Wright was pronounced dead at the scene. Four other people were injured in the crash and transported to a nearby hospital, Brennan said.  The crash remains under investigation, Brennan said.
