South Jersey Man, 32, Fatally Shot A 32-year-old man from Burlington County was fatally shot late Friday, authorities said. Beverly police officers were called to the Delacove Homes public complex about 10:15 p.m. on a report of a shooting, according to Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Beverly City Public Safety Director Rich Wolbert. Patrol officers found a bystander performing CPR on Octavius Williams, who had been shot in the chest by gunfire, Coffina and Wolbert said. South Jersey Woman, 61, Stabbed To Death In Burlington Home A 61-year-old woman was beaten and stabbed to death inside her South Jersey home, authorities said. The body of Carla Nesmith was found at about 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday by another resident who had retuned to the home in Burlington City, they said.
