Cheers! Vote Clears Way For First Alcohol Sales In Haddon Heights Voters in a Camden County borough approved a measure that would allow for alcohol sales for the first time in its 120-year history. In a 62-38 percent vote on Tuesday, Nov. 5, a proposal was passed to permit "plenary retail consumption licenses" in Haddon Heights, according to unofficial results. The Philadelphia suburb incorporated in 1904 has no liquor stores or bars.
