A New Jersey mother is suing a strip club and the driver accused of fatally striking her 26-year-old son, claiming the club continued serving the motorist alcohol before the deadly crash in August 2024, court records show.

Person Shot In Groin: Bridgeton PD
A person was shot in the groin in Bridgeton early Saturday morning, Aug. 8, authorities said.
At 5:44 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of Maple Drive and found a person with a gunshot wound to the groin, Bridgeton police said. The shooting occurred after the person was an argument with people, when one individual reached into his firearm, removed a firearm and then fired a gun, police said. The group fled the area on foot, police said.
The victim was uncooperative and transported to a nearby hospital, police said. The shooting remains under investigation, police said.

A 21-year-old Somers Point man was arrested and charged after he fled from police in Sea Isle City while riding an e-bike, authorities said.
On Tuesday, July 28, officers attempted to stop an e-bike rider, later identified as Alan Rosie, after observing numerous motor vehicle violations, Sea Isle City police said.
