At 1:45 p.m., officers and firefighters responded to Timber Creek Dog Park at 1701 Chews Landing Rd. in Blackwood and found the woman and her two dogs stuck in the water, Gloucester Township police said. First responders used specialized equipment to rescue the woman, who was approximately 35 feet from the shoreline and partially submerged in freezing water, police said. Toddler Falls Into South Jersey Pool, Airlifted To Hospital: State Police A toddler was airlifted after falling into a pool in Buena Vista Township, authorities said. Troopers responded to a possible drowning of a child at a home on Bellavista Avenue at around 5:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 11, a state police spokesperson said. The three-year-old had fallen into the pool before troopers arrived. The child was airlifted to a hospital for medical treatment. The toddler's condition wasn't known as of press time. State police also said the incident remained under investigation.
