Thief Crashed Stolen Plane In Jersey Shore Field, Confessed To Burglaries: Troopers A Point Pleasant man was accused of stealing and crashing a plane in Atlantic County, authorities said. Robert Wagner, 42, was arrested in Corbin City on Wednesday, Aug. 7, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to a report of a suspicious man walking out of the woods near Main Street. Troopers found Wagner walking on Route 50 near the intersection of Main Street at around 8:55 a.m. Wagner said he had crashed his plane in a nearby grass field but he was arrested for obstruction after refusing to identify himself. PA Catalytic Converter Theft Ring Shut Down, DA Says An organized catalytic converter theft ring operating in multiple Pennsylvania counties has been busted up with the arrest of five men, authorities said. A man reported on Thursday, July 25 that his Kia Sportage was stolen overnight on the 500 block of Delaware Avenue, the Atlantic City Police Department said in a news release on Tuesday, July 30. Two officers spotted the SUV driving near the intersection of Maryland Avenue and Absecon Boulevard at around 11:35 p.m. on Sunday, July 28.
