A Cape May Court House man was accused of an armed robbery, sparking an investigation that forced Dennis Township schools to cancel classes, authorities said. Jamar Lovett, 28, was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 10, a state police spokesperson said. A man barricaded with firearms and discharging the weapons brought a heavy police presence to a home in Evesham Monday morning, June 17. He was taken into custody by 9 a.m., Evesham police said; Officers were at a home on Brookfield Drive as of 7:30 a.m. and all residents near the home were being sheltered in place.
