PA Man Killed, Driver Airlifted In Crash On Jersey Shore Road: Troopers
A northeast Pennsylvania man was dead and another man was airlifted after a head-on crash on the Jersey Shore, officials said. Thomas Grau, 55, of Falls, PA, died in the crash in Dennis Township on Tuesday, Oct. 15, a New Jersey State Police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the scene on Route 47 South just south of Tyler Road near milepost 18.8. at around 12:28 p.m. Investigators said Grau was driving north in a Toyota Prius when he crossed the center line and struck an oncoming Nissan Pathfinder. Two men were hospitalized when a car and an SUV crashed in Medford, authorities said. Emergency crews responded to the crash near the intersection of Route 70 and Medford-Mt. Teen On Bicycle Suffers Serious Injuries In South Jersey Crash, Troopers Say
A teen riding a bicycle was seriously injured when they were hit by a car in Pittsgrove, authorities said. The 14-year-old was struck on County Route 553 on Tuesday, Aug. 27, a state police spokesperson said. Troopers responded to the crash near milepost 27.7 at around 11:35 a.m. Investigators said the teen left a parking lot and didn't yield to traffic. An Atlantic City man admitted to killing a Ventnor City man while trying to steal his SUV almost six years ago, authorities said. Angelo Delgado, 22, pleaded guilty on Thursday, Aug. 22 to first-degree felony murder, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said in a news release. A 35-year-old Trenton resident was identified as the man struck and killed by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Parsippany Monday evening, Aug. 19, authorities said. Jelson Cabrera was struck on Route 46 West near Sandra Drive, a spokeswoman for the Morris County Prosecutor's Office said. The vehicle fled the scene, authorities said.
