Pair Indicted In 3 Shootings On Jersey Shore: Prosecutor
A Monmouth County Grand Jury has returned a 31-count indictment against a man and a woman charged in connection with three attempted murders, authorities said.
Kahniaha X. Dean, 25, of Neptune Township and Ishawn A. Collazo, 26, of Long Branch are both charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit murder and several weapons and drug offenses, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Lori Linskey.
Dean was charged individually with aggravated assault and making terroristic threats, Linskey said.

Pair Charged In Fatal Jersey Shore Shooting During Robbery: Prosecutor
Two men from Ocean County have been charged with multiple offenses in connection with a fatal shooting, authorities said.
Craig Dillard, 56, of Berkeley Township, has been charged with possession of a firearm, several drug offenses, and tampering with evidence, said Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer alongside Berkeley Township Police Chief Kevin Santucci.
George Burke, IV, 40, of Freehold Borough, was charged with robbery, burglary, tampering with evidence and weapons offenses, Billhier and Santucci said.

Toms River Man Indicted For Shooting 2 Men In The Head: Prosecutor
A 39-year-old man from Ocean County has been indicted for murder in connection with the shootings of two men in the head, authorities said.
Tyshaun Drummond of Toms River was indicted in connection with the deaths of Nicholas Hardy, 36, of Toms River, and Sergio Chavez-Perez, 32, of Lakewood, in Lakewood Township, they said.
Drummond also was indicted on weapons charges, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.

UPDATE: A contract nurse who fled after authorities said he set a 54-year-old colleague at Hackensack University Medical Center on fire was found dead of his own hand in South Jersey, authorities said.
The body of Nicholas Pagano, 31, of West Deptford was found in a wooded area of Waterford Township, in Camden County, a two-hour drive of more than 100 miles from Hackensack, early Tuesday, Feb. 8, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.

A South Jersey ex-con with a lengthy history of drug-dealing arrests was busted in East Brunswick this week with 1,000 fentanyl pills, seven pounds of crystal meth and two handguns, federal authorities said.

A 55-year-old woman from Pennsylvania has been indicted in the double-slaying of her father and his girlfriend, authorities said.
Sherry Lee Heffernan, of Landenberg, Pennsylvania, was indicted Wednesday by an Ocean County grand jury on two counts of murder in connection with the deaths of John Enders and Francoise Pitoy, in Surf City on or about Sept. 29, according to Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer.
