A Middlesex County man was found guilty of murdering his father and another man in 2019 before setting their home on fire, authorities said. Jaree Kitchen, 24, was convicted on June 1 of the murder of his father, Clifford Kitchen Jr., 53 and Gregory Fisher, 53, both from Jamesburg, according to Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone. Gunman Sentenced In Mass Hudson County Shooting
A 30-year-old West New York man was sentenced to 71 years in prison for a 2019 mass shooting in North Bergen, authorities announced. Jonathan Haughey-Morales got 50 years for the murder of Carlos Garcia, and three consecutive seven year sentences for aggravated assault for the three others injured in the incident, Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said. A Jersey Shore man who was caught with a handful of phony federal agent IDs in his own name admitted also having a homemade rifle and a silencer. Authorities in Newark captured a man who beat a hotel concierge sending him to the hospital in the midst of an 11-day burglary spree, they said. A Maryland ex-con was arrested again after police found videos that showed him performing sex acts on his dogs, and child porn that showed children engaging in sex acts with animals, authorities said.
