Giants Grant Low-Performing QB Daniel Jones' Release As Tommy DeVito Prepares For Season Debut
NY Giants QB Daniel Jones' request to be released by the team has been granted, ESPN reports. Tommy Cutlets Returns: Giants Tap NJ Native Tommy DeVito As Starting QB
It's late 2023 all over again Tommy DeVito, a Don Bosco graduate who lives with his parents in Cedar Grove, has once again been named the starting quarterback of the New York Giants, according to ESPN. DeVito captured the hearts of the Garden State when he came out of nowhere to lead the Giants to three straight wins last year. But his Cinderella story ended prematurely when he was benched after a poor showing against the New Orleans Saints and relegated to riding the pine. He has yet to play a down this season. But with the Giants offense sputtering, again, the man they call Tommy Cu…
