Brian Laundrie's cause of death has been released, according to an announcement from the Laundrie family's lawyer. Laundrie -- the fiancé of fellow Long Island native Gabby Petito died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, WFLA, News Channel 8, an NBC affiliate in Tampa, Florida, reported citing family attorney Steven Bertolino. A troubled Bergen County man apparently died by suicide using a running lawn mower, authorities said. Responders didn't initially know the circumstances after a relative found the 33-year-old Fair Lawn man's body in his backyard Monday afternoon. A former assistant Bergen County voting machine custodian from Wallington who was accused of sexually assaulting two pre-teens has died by suicide, multiple sources confirmed Saturday. Daryl Mahoney, 51, survived a previous attempt at the county jail following his arrest in March. This time, as before, it was by hanging, authorities confirmed. A central Pennsylvania community is mourning the loss of a beloved firefighter. Carrie Ann Rafuse, 25, of Middletown, suddenly died on Wednesday, Oct. 13, according to her obituary. Two men were dead after one of them jumped from the top of a building, landing on top of the other below overnight in Westchester County, NY. The death of previously reported missing Millersville University student and former child actor Matthew Mindler has been ruled a suicide, according to the Lancaster County Coroner.
