425 Heroin Bricks Found In Trunk During NJ Turnpike Stop; 2 Charged, Prosecutor Says A man and woman were charged after a traffic stop on the NJ Turnpike led to the discovery of more than 400 bricks of heroin and cocaine, authorities announced. Dionys Rivas, 33, had just exited the New Jersey Turnpike at exit 7A in Robbinsville Township in a white Acura TL when he was stopped on Tuesday, April 7, Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri said. A search of the car turned up 425 bricks of heroin inside a gym bag in the trunk, and a follow-up search of Rivas’ South Clinton Avenue home in Trenton turned up 10 grams of cocaine, Onofri said. NJ Teen Missing For Nearly 2 Weeks, Police Say Seen her? Police have issued an alert for a New Jersey teen they say has been missing for nearly two weeks. Zahira Navedo, 14, was last seen Wednesday, March 30, Ewing Police said in a release on Monday, April 11. Navedo stands 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 126 pounds, and was last seen wearing gray leggings and a red hooded sweatshirt, police said. She is known to make frequent visits to the Roger Gardens, Hamilton and South Clinton avenues, and the Wilbur section of Trenton, authorities said. Born in Monrovia, Liberia, Zinnah moved to Trenton during his teen years, his obituary says. Zinnah went on to build a life in Trenton, establishing a career, marrying his caring and compassionate wife, Sujeydis, and deepening his connection with God, his memorial says. “Samuel was a friendly person with everyone he met, was helpful, lovely, protective, and an extraordinary husband,” reads his obituary. Ewing Man Arrested For Fatally Punching Pedestrian Before Victim Was Run Over, Prosecutor Says Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a pedestrian, authorities said. The unidentified victim was punched and stomped on before being struck by a car, they said.  Detectives reportedly had trouble sorting out the fatality because it involved two events -- an assault followed.by a hit-run incident, according to a spokeswoman for Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J.
