Home Is Where The Heart Is For Luxury Paramus Builder
Paramus has always felt like home to Ramona Gelin Malki. It's where her family laid their roots after immigrating to the United States from Turkey. It's where she attended grade school, where she spent summers while studying finance and international business at New York University. Malki only left Paramus in 2004 when she married her husband, and the two moved into a home in Ramsey. Well, actually, that's not entirely true. Malki says there's a part of her that never really left the borough: "Paramus is where my heart is," she said. And now, so are all nine of the homes she's built …

'EM? Lowlife Thieves Con Paramus Man, 76, Out Of $10,000, Leave Him Holding Paper
They call it the "pigeon drop" -- an old, heartless trick that still causes heartbreak. Paramus police are hoping someone sees or knows the sleazebags who duped a 76-year-old borough resident into withdrawing $10,000 from his bank and letting them hold it. It happened awhile ago -- Thursday, July 13, to be exact -- in the parking lot of Loews at the Bergen Town Center off eastbound Route 4, Paramus Police Chief Robert Guidetti said. It was first reported to the media and public as a robbery. But as detectives probed further, what really happened came out. It turns out a well-dressed …

North Jersey Musicians Lament Closing Of Route 4's Sam Ash Music
Sam Ash Music is where countless North Jersey musicians bought their first instruments. For many, it was a safe haven, a place to talk shop and bond with other musical hopefuls. The Route 4 store in Paramus closed its doors after nearly 50 years last month — two years after the Pier 1 next to it — as a new furniture store prepares to take its place, NorthJersey.com reports. And to say those same musicians are sad to see it go is an understatement. Sad day for me. My old job and stomping ground, Sam Ash in Paramus has closed it's doors permanently today. Went, and...
