Former Bergen County HS Athlete Sean Sidle Dies Suddenly, 19: 'Nightmare'
Sean Sidle, a former St. Joseph's Regional High School athlete from Maywood, died on Monday, July 22. He was 19 years old.
A GoFundMe campaign launched by Sean's mother, Victoria, said that his death was sudden, and "a nightmare for any mother and father to have to go through."
Sean's obituary on the Beaugard-McKnight Funeral Home website says he graduated from St. Peter the Apostle Grammar School in River Edge in 2019, and then from St. Joseph Regional High School, Montvale, where he played football and wrestled, in 2023.

Support was surging for the family of Bergen County dad and auto repairman Ronnie Guerra.
Guerra of Upper Saddle River died on Sunday, Nov. 27. He was 30 years old.
More than $11,200 had been raised on a GoFundMe for Guerra's daughter, Amia Lester as of Wednesday, Nov. 30.

Murder: Bergen County Mom Assaulted Infant Repeatedly Before He Died, Prosecutor Says
A Bergen County mom was charged with murder in the death of a 3-month-old baby, authorities said.
Sun Min "Grace" Yoo Chan, an educational counselor from River Edge, was jailed on charges of murder, aggravated assault, and child endangerment Wednesday, May 3, Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella said.
Police were called to Chan's home around 7:30 a.m. on March 29, on reports of a child not breathing, Musella said. The unresponsive child was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead three days later, the prosecutor said.
