Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Route 18: East Brunswick PD A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle on Route 18 in East Brunswick on the evening of Wednesday, Feb. 19, authorities said. At 11:57 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of Highway 18 northbound and South Woodland Drive for the report of a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle, East Brunswick police said. The pedestrian, whose identity is currently unconfirmed, was pronounced dead, police said. The driver of the vehicle was uninjured and remained at the scene of the crash, police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation, police said.
