Snow Flurries Possible This Evening In Parts Of North Jersey
Wintry weather may be working its way through parts of North Jersey later today, Tuesday, Nov. 28.
The National Weather Service was predicting up to a 40 percent chance of flurries in the northern and westernmost parts of the state in the late afternoon and evening hours.
Bergen, Passaic, Essex, Morris, Union, Sussex, Warren, and Hunterdon counties could all see snow through the evening, according to the NWS.
The greatest chance of snow is in Sussex County, where the NWS predicted a 40% chance of flurries before 5 p.m.

Erica Voloshin was born to love.
The 37-year-old Nutley woman, who was killed over the weekend in a Belleville home, is being mourned by those who love her for her innate kindness.
"She was so capable of loving anybody," said Voloshin's boyfriend, Aviv Roziner, of Huntingdon Valley, PA. "She was so kind... she was the most understanding person one could ever imagine."
Scott Hurring, 43, of Belleville, was charged with murder in Voloshin's killing Sunday, Oct. 1, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II and Belleville Police Chief Mark Minichini said.

Tornado Possible, Flood Watch Issued Across 18 NJ Counties As Thunderstorms Loom
A flood watch is in effect across 18 of New Jersey's counties as thunderstorms with the possibility of a tornado moves in, the National Weather Service said.
The flood watch is in effect until Wednesday evening, Sept. 13, in the following counties, according to the NWS:
Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Essex, Gloucester, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Passaic, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren.
The NWS said there is a "marginal risk" of an isolated tornado and damaging winds, however, no tornado watch or warning was issued.

Reward Increased: Offer For Help Finding Missing Clifton Man Boosted To $2,000
Family members said they last spoke with Edgar Pelaez of Clifton by phone on July 16, 2022. No one has seen nor heard from him since, police said.
Authorities recharged the case on Wednesday, Aug. 30, increasing a reward for help finding the father of two to $2,000.
Edgar, 39, was last known to be in the area of Hoover Avenue in Passaic, Clifton Police Detective Lt. Robert Bracken said. He'd also frequented Botany Village (Clifton) and Parker Avenue in Passaic.

Brothers' New North Jersey Rooftop Bar Promises NYC Vibes
Passaic is getting the rooftop bar it has long desired.
I Want U, which promises views of the New York City skyline, will be opening in October at 822 Main Ave. in the city.
The bar is the brainchild of longtime friends, Alex Perez, whose family owns the property, and Justin Gordnick, who along with his brother Chris, run a solar company.
"They had this property and it was a really good location," said Chris Gordnick, of Tenafly. "We think we can do something together here."
