One person was airlifted in a crash on the Garden State Parkway in Ocean County on Sunday, May 19, authorities said. A Honda passenger car and Ford pickup truck were both heading south when the two collided near milepost 83.8 around 3:30 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron said. The crash caused the Ford to run off the right side of the roadway and overturn in Toms River, Lebron said. Truck Veers Off I-287 In Central Jersey (

A vehicle veered off of Interstate 287 in Central Jersey, authorities said. The crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on Friday, May 10 northbound near Exit 4 (Durham Road) in South Plainfield, according to New Jersey State Police. Troopers responded to a motorist aid, said Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a State Police spokesman. Upon the trooper’s arrival, a Freightliner box truck ran off the road and into a ditch, he said. There were no injuries reported, Lebron said. Two right lanes of three lanes were closed causing traffic delays, 511nj.org reported.

The crash occurred at about 9:50 a.m. on I-295 northbound near Exit 65 (Sloan Avenue) in Hamilton Township, according to the NJDOT and New Jersey State Police.
