Man, 40, Accused Of Stabbing Parent Arrested At NJ Mall, Police Say A 40-year-old East Brunswick man has been arrested in connection with stabbing one of his parents, authorities said. Heng Shao is believed to have stabbed one of his parents in a home on Buttonwood Drive in East Brunswick, local police said. East Brunswick police were notified by Sayreville police around 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 12. The victim subsequently fled to safety at a home on Winding Woods Drive in Sayreville before being taken to a local area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Edison police broke up two fights about an hour apart on Saturday evening, they said. More than 100 people were present when the first fight involving about 20 to 30 teens and young adults started at around 6:30 p.m., Edison Deputy Chief Robert Dudash said.
