Bergen Man Claims To Be NJ Transit CEO, Steals Agency Garb, Starts Bus Fire, Authorities Charge
A Bergen County man with the same name as NJ TRANSIT's top executive claimed to be him after he was caught stealing uniforms from the agency's garage in Fairview and igniting a fire on one of its buses, authorities charged.
Kevin J. Corbett, an unemployed 42-year-old Hillsdale resident, entered the facility off Anderson Avenue in street clothes before dawn Saturday, March 11, a complaint on file in Superior Court in Hackensack says.
He then stole an NJ Transit raincoat, an agency uniform shirt and a roll of receipt paper, it says.

The tickets from the Tuesday, Jan. 10 drawing won the third-tier prize. The $30,000 winner was purchased with the Megaplier option, tripling the prize. A $1 million ticket was sold in Ocean County.

Services Set For Mendham High School Senior Lacrosse Captain Matthew LaRosa
The local athletic community was among those mourning the loss of Matthew Larosa, a West Morris Mendham High School senior who reportedly died suddenly on New Year's Eve.
LaRosa, of Mendham, 18, was a leader and captain of the Minutemen lacrosse team.
"We are calling on the community help support Matt’s family, classmates, teammates, teachers and school officials as they deal with their tragic loss," Morris Sussex Sports wrote in a Thursday morning Facebook post.
