Ocean County Man Indicted In Fentanyl-Heroin Overdose Death
A 33-year-old man from the Jersey Shore has been indicted for allegedly selling a fatal mix of drugs, authorities said. Dandre Tubbs, of Manchester, was indicted by a grand jury on a charge of strict liability drug induced death and several drug-related charges, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. The indictment stems from the Aug. 16 overdose death a 35-year-old man from Manchester, the prosecutor said. Jersey Shore Men Admit Running Drug Production Facility, Prosecutor Says
Two men from Ocean County have admitted to running a drug production facility, authorities said. Jose Quintero-DeJesus, 37, of Brick Township, and Victor Mendoza-Gutierrez, 26, of Manchester, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to maintaining a controlled dangerous substance production facility, according to the Ocean County prosecutor. A Jersey Shore man has been criminally accused of giving a 35-year-old man a lethal combination of heroin and fentanyl in August. Dandre Tubbs, 33, of Manchester, supplied the drugs that killed the unidentified victim on Aug. 15, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Motorcyclist, 73, Killed In Route 70 Jersey Shore Crash
A 73-year-old motorcyclist struck a sign, was ejected from his bike and killed in a crash along Route 70 in Ocean County, authorities said. Lawrence Foca, 73, of Manchester was traveling east at 9:10 p.m. Thursday when he went off the right shoulder, struck a sign and was ejected from his bike, Manchester police said. The motorcycle kept going, overturning several times before slamming into a tree near Pleasant Valley Road, police said. A 30-year-old man from Ocean County has been indicted in connection with his father's alleged murder-for-hire, authorities said. Mark J. Austin, 30, of Brick Township, was charged Thursday with murder and weapons offenses, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer. A 32-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a Jersey Shore crash on Tuesday, authorities said. Philip Gurganious, of Browns Mills, was heading north on County Route 539 when he left the roadway near Lincoln Boulevard and struck a utility pole around 6:45 p.m., Manchester police say. A 21-year-old Jersey Shore man was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law, authorities said Wednesday Ralph Downey, Jr., of Manchester, was arrested on Sept. 28, after failing to meet his annual registration requirement with any law enforcement agencies, Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. A 37-year-old motorist from Ocean County was killed in a head-on crash while passing another vehicle, authorities said. The driver who was killed, from New Eqypt, has not been identified pending notification of family, according to Plumsted police.
