Details Released In Crash That Killed Sunset Watcher In Cape May
A driver apparently suffered from a medical episode before striking and killing a 75-year-old woman on a bench in Cape May County, authorities said. On Sunday, May 29, at 7:38 p.m., Lower Township police responded to a motor vehicle crash near Lincoln Boulevard and Beach Drive. Police found a 2015 Hyundai Elantra had struck another vehicle and then a pedestrian seated on a bench before coming to rest in the Delaware Bay, according to Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. South Jersey Officer Charged With Terroristic Threats, Burglary: Prosecutor
A South Jersey police officer has been arrested on charges of burglary and terroristic threats, authorities said Monday. Dylan J. Keenan-Hannum, 30, of the Del Haven section of Middle Township, was also served a disorderly persons offense and charged with simple assault following his Nov. 14 arrest, the Cape May County Prosecutor's Office announced. Atlantic City Bomb Squad Removes Unexploded Grenade From Yard Sale
Police in South Jersey were called to Shore Drive in North Cape May on Saturday on a report of a hand grenade found at a yard sale. Lower Township Police determined that the hand grenade was unexploded and immediately evacuated the area of Shore Drive between Racetrack Drive and Folsom Drive, according to an alert. Once the area was safely evacuated, officers maintained a secure perimeter until the arrival of the Atlantic City Police Department’s Bomb Squad Unit.
