Family Of NJ Man Shot Dead By Officer At Dorney Park To Get $950K In Settlement Money
The family of a New Jersey man shot and killed by an "inexperienced" police officer directing traffic at Dorney Park will receive $950,000 reached in the settlement of a wrongful death suit, The Morning Call reports. Joseph Santos' two adult sons and 11-year-old daughter will receive a portion of the settlement, aside from law firm costs and fees, according to a copy of the settlement obtained by The Morning Call. NJ Road Rage Driver Accused Of Shooting Man Dead In PA
A 25-year-old New Jersey man was arrested for fatally shooting another man in Pennsylvania after an apparent road rage incident on Tuesday, authorities and reports say. Justin “Nuk” Nevius, of Phillipsburg, is facing charges of homicide and prohibited possession of a firearm in connection with the killing of 42-year-old Kippy Henry, of South Whitehall Township, according to Lehigh County District Attorney Jim Martin and Allentown police chief Charles Roca. Charges have been upgraded for a 31-year-old Allentown man previously arrested in a crash that killed a mom and her 1-year-old baby boy, authorities announced. Lazarus Roldan was originally facing charges of accidents involving death and other related offenses stemming from the New Year's Day crash.
